Job Overview
Starting a child off right as they begin their dental journey by providing quality, compassionate care is fundamental to the position. You will serve a steady stream of new patients as well as those that are internally referred. You focus on providing excellent dentistry while enjoying clinical autonomy. We support you living a balanced lifestyle while helping you reach your career and life goals.
Highlights
Clinical Responsibilities
- Review patients’ medical history, current medications, existing conditions, previous dental work, vital signs, and informed consent forms as needed
- Diagnose patients’ dental needs and create individualized treatment plans
- Work in collaboration with general dentists and other specialists as needed
- Educate patients (and their parents) on their diagnosis to ensure acceptance and confidence in their treatment
- Provide preventative, restorative, and surgical treatment while meeting the standard of care as defined by the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry
- Complete progress notes, ensuring that they are clear and comprehensive
Education, Experience, or Skill Sets:
- DDS or DMD from an accredited school
- Licensed to work in Hawaii (at time of start)
- 5 years of experience in Pediatric Dentistry is preferred
- Completed post-doctoral residency program in area of specialty
